The annual Hluhluwe Fly-in 15-16 June 2024

We don't quite know why this fly-in is so special. Perhaps it is the ability to fly into a beautiful 1km grass strip and camp next to your plane on
the banks of the Mzinene
River where Hippos literally graze next to your tent.

Maybe it's the fact that a casual local flight allows to you visit world renowned sites such as St Lucia; Cape Vidal; Sodwana Bay; Kosi Bay; False Bay; Jozini Dam and many more.

It could be the spectacular whale migration along the coastline that time of year or flying over some of the most untouched and beautiful scenery our country has to offer.

Maybe, it is as simple as enjoying a fresh pint or GnT in the heart of Zululand with the warm and friendly people of Hluhluwe (pilots and non-pilots alike) - where everyone who makes the effort to join us is graciously welcomed.

Whatever the motivation, we look forward to welcoming you to the second annual Hluhluwe Fly-in hosted on Doornkuil farm and trust it will be a memorable experience.

With over 30 aircraft already confirmed; availability of avgas and mogas; live music (campfire style); hot water and comfortable ablutions and fully catered setup, great care has been taken to ensure the most convenient and luxurious experience for all pilots and pax.
